Barcode scanner
Use the USB scanner you already have — Mini Shop and Cafeteria.
No need to buy a Gestono-specific scanner: any standard USB scanner (the same ones sold at any electronics store, wired or wireless) already works — just plug it in and turn it on in Settings. The system recognizes a scan by typing speed, so it never confuses a scanned code with someone typing on the keyboard.
Available today for Mini Shop and Cafeteria: scan, and the right product drops straight into the cart (or its quantity goes up if it's already there), and the sale follows the exact same flow as always — same stock control, same entry in the financials. If the code isn't found, the system offers to register the product right there, without losing the code it just read.

How it works, step by step

Turn on the scanner
In Settings → Barcode scanner, turn it on for Mini Shop and/or Cafeteria.

Add the code to the product
Add the barcode (EAN, UPC or internal code) to each product's record.

Plug in your USB scanner
Any standard scanner works — nothing to configure on the device itself.
